FCC HISTORY

A vision from the start

Fairfield Chemical Carriers was established in 1996 through a coming together of partners with a shared vision and a track record of success in chemical tanker ship owning and trading.  The founding management team’s leadership, supported by Fairfield Maxwell Ltd.’s financial stability, resources, and strong connections in the Japan shipping community, set the course.  The group’s core ambition remains firmly in place today and is reflected in our commitment to constantly improving.  Simply put, we want to be the very best chemical tanker company we can be – one our customers can rely upon, trust, appreciate, and enjoy doing business with – wherever we offer our services.   The group is private and closely held by shareholders with experience in shipping dating back to the 1950’s.  Management is empowered to plan and act for the long term ensuring stability and consistency to our customers.
